There is a false story going around the news that the dates and signs astrologers use are wrong, due to the movement of the earth around it’s axis. Astrologers have known about this lack of correspondence for over 2000 years. It is due to the precession of the equinoxes. The signs are not determined by the position of the earth on it’s axis in relation to the constellations, but by the position of the planets as they relate to the seasons and eliptic. This is called Tropical Astrology and is the most common used by Western Astrologers.
